A very tasty website for an awesome stevenage based cake companyIt is not often you get to really indulge your creative side as a web designer. Some clients can be a little conservative, time frames and budget can be restrictive and there is not always room for certain elements. We 'R' Cakes were a dream client for mrmdesign! Being highly talented cake loving artisans, they had a real creative vision for their company and their brand. They were happy to hear any of our suggestions and really trusted the direction we chose to go in. They also had lots of their own ideas and provided us with a clear and detailed brief. Every element of this project was so much fun! From the hand drawn post -it's to the bakers mess on all of the pages; this website is completely unique and very different to anything else out there. We worked with the brand new stevenage based business on the creation of their logo, business cards and stationery to so the We 'R' Cakes brand is truly consistent across all areas. We truly believe that the best websites are designed and built around solid concepts that can only be acheived by working very closely with our clients. Web technology continues to evolve at a ridiculously fast pace and we have worked on quite a few new website projects for local and regional businesses. Unfortunately we have not been giving enough attention to our own site and it is jealous. We kept telling it we would treat it better and we did mean to give it some affection before now but it is just one of those things. You know how it is; You are busy with other projects that bring the beans in, your free time gets taken up by family and friends and your poor old website sits there.... waiting.... hoping.... (Can I have some html5 please? Can you make me look better and work nicer on the iPad? How about some CSS3?... Are you still there?) Well, things are about to change.... The brand new mrm design website is coming soon! We are quite excited about our new look and we hope it will show our new and existing customers how we have grown over the years. Look out for a more mature (but equally unique) mrm design website in the coming months filled with new projects and new technologies but the same friendliness and approachability that mrm design are known and loved for.
